Ed Stathis
Edward John Stathis is a veteran artist whose work is rooted in landscape painting and driven by a strong sense of movement, atmosphere, and place. Working primarily in acrylics, his paintings often balance bold, energetic mark-making with quieter moments of reflection, capturing landscapes not just as locations, but as lived and felt experiences. His approach emphasizes motion, light, and emotional resonance, drawing influence from both natural environments and the physical act of painting itself. In addition to his studio practice, Edward is an active volunteer at the Warriors Art Room, where he supports fellow veterans through creative engagement and community building. His work reflects both his personal journey and his commitment to using art as a tool for connection, expression, and healing.

The Mission
Warrior’s Art Room's purpose is to provide veterans and active duty members of the Armed Forces of the United States of America and their immediate families with a location for which they can receive instruction in the creation of art, encouragement to create said art, the display of works created, and to promote the creation of art to the veteran community.
The creation of and the instruction provided will not be limited to one medium, but will instead encourage the use of all mediums and forms of art.
We shall provide education by conducting workshops, one on one mentoring, free lectures, and informal classes.
From time to time we will host presentations/gallery exhibits of completed works and generate public awareness of our efforts.
